To support our growth across the Asia Pacific region, we are now seeking ambitious candidates with strong technical, business development and management skills to lead the expansion of our Process Risk & Safety Team as:

Risk Engineer

The role will focus on delivering process safety studies and risk assessments for oil & gas and petrochemical industries, in particular for offshore facilities (e.g. platforms, FPSO, FSO, FLNG). The role is based in JAKARTA, providing leadership and delivering performance results to expand BMT's Process Risk & Safety team across Singapore/ Hong Kong/ Jakarta. The successful candidate may be required to travel frequently on a region-wide basis, and the following qualifications and experience are desired:

• Degree in chemical, mechanical engineering, marine engineering, preferably chartered from a recognised institution; Master degree is a plus.
• 5~10 years of consultancy experience in oil & gas and petrochemical industries (experience for offshore oil & gas is more preferred);
• Ability to conduct and manage risk assessments for onshore- offshore process facilities is a must;

• Solid experience in process facility operations (preferably in offshore oil & gas industry) and knowledge of the process safety life cycle, HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, LOPA, and FMEA/FMECA, Fire and explosion modeling

• Excellent English
• Experience in the development of business sectors within the process risk consulting industry is a plus.
