MAINTENANCE DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR
JOB CONTEXT
The project team is responsible for the successful and timely completion of this
scope of work, measured by several contractual milestones.
JOB PURPOSE
The Maintenance Coordinator is a key member of the project team.
He plans, organizes and controls the various technical activities during the
project, provides technical guidance, assists in the various activities as
required, and monitors the project technical performance.
DIMENSIONS OF THE JOB
•Budget: Not applicable
•Number of persons reporting to you directly: Approximately 15
•Level of authority : Group 4
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
•Responsible for the technical integrity of the project and its deliverables.
•To organize and control the various technical activities during the project
Setup Period.
•To manage the technical staff during the project.
•To monitor and report the project technical progress and performance (quality).
•To recommend effective and technically sound solutions and execution plans as
required, and assist in their implementation.
MAJOR TASKS
•Coordinate the work of various engineers providing input into the CMMS
•Prepare work plans, schedules and work instructions for the team
•Collect data for the purpose of producing weekly and monthly reports
•Act as a "check and balance" function to the Project Manager as required
•Manage Requests for Information and control accuracy of responses
•Finalize Generic Maintenance Strategies developed by the team
•Validate standard Preventive Maintenance Routines (PMR) developed by the team
•Develop the methodologies for Criticality study, RCM study and spare parts
cataloguing.
•Validate PMRs and Craft Instructions developed by the team
•Carry-out day-to-day data consistency & quality checks
•Lead the Maintenance plan optimization exercise, with the team.
•Lead the development of the spare parts catalogue
•Lead the spare parts optimization exercise
•Assist the Client in defining Maintenance-related business processes and
workflows to be implemented in the CMMS
•Control deliverables before submitting to the Client
•Carry-out handover to the Client
WORKING CONDITIONS
•Travel within the country: As required
•Travel within the region: As required
PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES LINKED TO CONTRACT
•No LTI during the project
•To take all the necessary actions and measures to complete milestones as
defined in the contract.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
•Degree holder or minimum 10 years experience in the Oil & Gas Industry,
including 5 years in management/supervisory role
•Minimum 5 years experience in operational activities related to the maintenance
of offshore facilities
•Minimum 5 years experience in using/implementing CMMS software in Oil & Gas
industry
•Familiar with concept and implementation of RCM
•Good written and verbal communication skills
•Fluent in English, written and spoken
•Computer skills (Microsoft office)
