SENIOR MATERIALS AND WELDING ENGINEER - MAJOR OPERATOR

My operator client in the South East UK region has a requirement for a Senior Materials & Welding Engineer to work on a large offshore platform project.

You will be based at the contractors offices and will be the operators "man on the ground" for the entire project.

You must have offshore topside experience - any onshore terminal experience is beneficial (gas terminal ideal)

Any operator experience is also a benefit.

This is completely shore based working 40 hrs per week and is initially a 12 month contract with the role expected to last for 3-4 years.

Leak Off Test

Prinsipnya LOT (leak off test) dilakukan untuk menentukan tekanan dimana formasi mulai rekah. Tujuannya: 1. Menentukan MASP (Max. Allowable Surface Pressure). Yaitu batasan max surface pressure yg boleh kita terapkan selama drilling operation, tanpa mengakibatkan formasi rekah (fracture). 2. Dengan mengetahui MASP, berarti juga kita bisa mengetahui Max. mud weight yg boleh kita terapkan selama drilling operation, tanpa mengakibatkan formasi rekah (fracture). 3. Menentukan Kick Tolerance.
