Sr. Sales Engineer
As a Sr. Sales Engineer in the separation technologies business you are responsible, as part of the sales team, for the sales activities for our custom made products and systems.
This involves identifying and following up on sales opportunities, to prepare technical and commercial designs as per our clients’ requests, provide our clients with technical advice and negotiate contracts.
In this process you are responsible for maintaining contact with clients and suppliers, particularly in and around Malaysia.
Because of the international character of the business, the work will not solely be executed in or around Kuala Lumpur. Visiting clients and suppliers abroad is part of the job.

Job description
Generating sales opportunities through a network of clients and by proactively screening the market;
· Establishing relations with operators, contractors and suppliers;
· Determining the proposal strategy;
· Coordinating the product design;
· Determining the costs of our custom-made products and systems;
· Combining the above information into a technical and commercial proposal;
· Following up of the proposals at our clients;
· Negotiating about the delivery time, conditions and price;
We are looking for a new colleague who wants to work with our young and ambitious team and contribute to the growth, internationalization and the expansion of the product portfolio. We are therefore expecting a flexible attitude, empathic and analytical thinking and initiative. Having an established network in the oil- and gas industry, preferably in the Asia-Pacific region, will be considered advantageous.
Job requirements
· Completed Bachelor or University education in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering;
· Commercially driven team player;
· Experience in Oil & Gas or other relevant field is a must;
· Network in oil- and gas industry is an advantage;
· Fluency in English, both written and oral;
· Excellent communication and social skills;
· You must be holder of the Malaysian nationality (or otherwise permitted to work in Malaysia).
