Principle Pipeline Engineer - Abu Dhabi

We are looking to appoint a Principle Pipeline engineer for the Abu Dhabi office. The successful candidate would be expected to lead a team of pipeline engineers in the delivery of pipeline design, verification, analysis and integrity management in the MENA and Indian region.
You would be expected to travel to the sites during the critical phases of projects. As The Successful candidate you would line into the head of verification and certification services.
Below is a summary of the skills and attributes required:
The education, skills and experience will include, but may not be limited to:
Relevant degree Level in Engineering
15+ years of Pipeline engineering experience with emphasis in Pipeline Design or Operations
Extensive experience related to design, construction, Installation and verification of offshore pipelines: ability to perform wall thickness calculation, on-bottom stability analysis, end expansion analysis, free spanning analysis and global buckling analysis, to perform riser design and spool stress analysis etc
Pipeline Integrity assessments experience
Additional experience for added advantage:
Pipeline related defects (corrosion, cracking, dents, manufacturing defects)
In-line inspection technologies and associated data
Defect, remaining life and risk assessment techniques
Failure analysis and fitness for service assessment
Integrity management program development
NDE procedures (magnetic particle inspection; ultrasonic inspection

Electric Power Factor

Katanya jika power factor kecil maka tidak effisien pada generator, trafo, dan system distribusi? Kondisinya begini, plant saya punya electric generator sendiri (tidak beli dari PLN). Pembangkit berupa 5 buah gas turbin generator masing masing 2 MW. Sebagian besar (hampir semua) konsumen listrik adalah motor induksi sehingga power factor kecil kisaran 0.5-0.6 (terbaca di generator control panel). Apakah dengan meningkatkan power factor maka: 1 Saya bisa meningkatkan effisiensi energi listrik saya (baca:menurunkan konsumsi fuel gas untuk generator)? 2. Saya bisa mengurangi jumlah generator yang beroperasi?
